Ryan Meeks

Executive Assistant

Ryan brings a unique background to Varner Injury Advocates, combining both military & private practice legal administration experience across multiple practice areas. He entered the legal field in the United States Marine Corps as a Legal Administrator, supporting a high-volume caseload with many cases, including DUIs, drug and alcohol-related offenses, domestic violence, sex crimes, wrongful death, and financial crimes. In that role, Ryan contributed to case preparation, documentation, legal support, and outcomes that supported command-level actions, including command investigations, Article 15 nonjudicial punishments, court martial sentencing, and administrative separations.

After transitioning to private practice, Ryan expanded his experience in family, criminal, probate, estate, and elder law. He assisted attorneys with complex cases, including multimillion-dollar high-asset divisions, high-stakes contested child custody disputes, child support, alimony, arrearage collection and enforcement, and Guardian Ad Litem investigations, always under attorney supervision.

Ryan graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with honors, obtaining seven honors distinctions and four dean’s list nominations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Law Studies. He also earned credits in mathematics toward an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from American Military University while maintaining a 4.0 GPA and serving in the Marine Corps.

Ryan is drawn to personal injury work because it allows him to advocate for people at one of the most difficult moments of their lives. He supports clients when they need answers, stability, and someone willing to push back against unfair treatment. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys exploring Colorado, unwinding on weekends, and spending meaningful time with his family.
